Legislative Tobacco Settlement Revenue Oversight Committee Meeting Wednesday, June 18

Santa Fe, NM – The LegislativeTobacco Settlement Revenue Oversight Committee will be meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in room 321 of the State Capitol in Santa Fe.

Among several agenda items, committee members will be discussing the Food and Drug Administration’s proposed “deeming” rules for e-cigarettes. Members will also be presented with a post-session update on tobacco settlement permanent and program funds. The 2014 committee interim work plan and meeting schedule will be adopted at the meeting as well.

Co-Chairs Senator Cisco McSorley (D-16-Bernalillo) and Representative Elizabeth “Liz” Thomson (D-24-Bernalillo) will be presiding at the meeting.
