Behavioral Health Subcommittee Meeting Friday, November 7
Santa Fe, NM – The Behavioral Health Subcommittee will meet on Friday, November 7, 2014, at 8:00 a.m. in Room 322 of the State Capitol in Santa Fe.
Committee members will discuss the FOCUS/Milagro Proposal, Crisis Hotline Services updates, the Behavioral Health Clearinghouse and Helpline Proposal, the Project ECHO Proposal to expand capacity to provide behavioral health services in primary care, and the proposal to protect and expand behavioral and primary health services in school-based health clinics. Other agenda items include the Heading Home Proposal, the proposal for additional psychiatric nurse slots,behavioral health and primary care coordination of care, the Transitional Living Proposal, and the Youth Risk and Resiliency Survey.
Committee Chair Representative Elizabeth “Liz” Thomson (D-24-Bernalillo) and Vice Chair Senator Benny Shendo, Jr. (D-22- Bernalillo, McKinley, Rio Arriba, San Juan & Sandoval) will preside at the meeting.
