Adults who smoke in their vehicles when children are with them would be breaking the law and could be fined, under a bill introduced today in the Legislature.

It’s a joint effort of two Democrats, Rep. Jeff Steinborn of Las Cruces and Sen.Peter Wirth of Santa Fe.
