ALBUQUERQUE (AP) – A bill introduced by a New Mexico lawmaker would have computer programming count as a foreign language under the state’s academic requirements for public schools.      Sen. Jacob Candelaria says enactment of his proposal would encourage students to learn an important and potentially lucrative skill.
