Criminal Justice Reform Subcommittee Meeting Wednesday, September 24

Santa Fe, NM – The Criminal Justice Reform Subcommittee of the Courts, Corrections and Justice Committee will meet on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in room 321 of the State Capitol in Santa Fe.

Among several agenda items, subcommittee members will discuss crime victims’ perspectives on the criminal justice system, and receive a report from the Bernalillo County Criminal Justice Review Commission. Subcommittee members will also discuss criminal justice legislative proposals with the Legislative Finance Committee and the Office of the Public Defender.

Subcommittee Co-Chairs Senator Lisa A. Torraco (R-18-Bernalillo) and Representative Antonio “Moe” Maestas (D-16-Bernalillo) will preside at the meeting.
