Senate Majority Whip Tim Keller, D-Albuquerque, announced today that he is calling on Attorney General Gary King to open up an investigation into the State Fair racino deal.

Keller’s announcement comes after an hours-long hearing on the racino deal in front of the Senate Rules Committee. Keller sat in on the hearing despite not sitting on the committee; Expo New Mexico, where the Downs at Albuquerque racino is located, is in Keller’s district.
