Legislative Health and Human Services Committee Meeting September 10-12

Santa Fe, NM – The Legislative Health and Human Services Committee will meet on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, September 10-12, 2014 in Las Cruces and Elephant Butte.

Several agenda items include an update of Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine at New Mexico State University, sole community provider hospitals funding, proposed rule changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and health coverage provider network adequacy, amongst others.

Committee Chair Representative James Roger Madalena (D-65- Rio Arriba, Sandoval & San Juan) and Vice Chair Senator Gerald Ortiz y Pino (D-12-Bernalillo) will preside at the meeting.
