Legislative Health and Human Services Committee Meeting Tuesday, August 5

Santa Fe, NM – The Legislative Health and Human Services Committee will meet on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at the Pavilion Conference Room in the Barbara and Bill Richardson Pavilion at the University of New Mexico (UNM) Hospital, located at 2211 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque.

Among several agenda items, committee members will discuss proposed child care reimbursement rates, child care providers and the proposed rules for child care reimbursement, and the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange. Committee members will also discuss UNM’s Pain Management Center, the UNM Center of Excellence in Child Maltreatment and Abuse, and the Brain Safe Program with several representatives from UNM.

Committee Chair Representative James Roger Madalena (D-65- R.A., Sandoval & San Juan) and Vice Chair Senator Gerald Ortiz y Pino (D-12-Bernalillo) will preside at the meeting.
