Legislative Revenue Stabilization and Tax Policy Committee Meeting June 6

Santa Fe, NM – The Legislative Revenue Stabilization and Tax Policy Committee will be meeting at 10:00 a.m. on June 6, 2014 in room 307 of the State Capitol in Santa Fe.

Committee members will review a post-session fiscal report with David Abbey, Director of the Legislative Finance Committee (LFC) and Peter van Moorsel, LFC Chief Economist. They will also be going over the FY2015 budget and tax policy update with Tom Clifford, Ph.D., Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration. Proposals for a comprehensive review of the gross receipts tax will be discussed. Committee members will also be reviewing the 2014 interim work plan and meeting schedule.

Committee Chair Representative Edward C. Sandoval (D-17-Bernalillo) and Vice Chair Senator Carlos R. Cisneros (D-6-Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe & Taos) will be presiding at the meeting.
