Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committee Meeting Wednesday, October 29

Santa Fe, NM – The Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committee will meet on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at 9:30 a.m. at the Visitors Center of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, located at 34 Country Club Road, in Angel Fire.

Committee members will discuss rural transportation for veterans, veteran home rehabilitation legislation, the Veterans’ Justice Project, medical cannabis and veterans, infrastructure requirements for Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial State Park, and the USS New Mexico funding request.

Co-Chairs Senator Richard Martinez (D-5- Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Sandoval & Santa Fe) and Representative Rodolpho “Rudy” S. Martinez (D-39- Dona Ana, Grant & Sierra) will be presiding at the meeting.
