New Mexico Finance Authority Oversight Committee Meeting Monday and Tuesday, October 20-21
Santa Fe, NM – The New Mexico Finance Authority Oversight Committee will meet on Monday and Tuesday, October 20-21, 2014 at the Barbara Hubbard Room at the New Mexico State University Pan American Center, located at 1810 East University Avenue in Las Cruces.
On Monday, committee members will discuss costs, capital projects, revenues, and regional local gross receipts tax for the Spaceport Authority, as well as increasing commerce in the border area. On Tuesday, they will receive budget updates and reports from the Border Authority; and discuss proposed legislation for committee endorsement, and the colonias infrastructure project fund.
Committee Chair Senator Joseph Cervantes (D-31- Dona Ana) and Vice-Chair Representative Patricia A. Lundstrom (D-9- McKinley & San Juan) will preside at the meeting.
