Big tobacco tricks are being reused, American Cancer Society says

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —Electronic cigarettes are gaining popularity, and some experts say they are dangerous.

Many children are using them, as they are attracted to the fun flavors and catchy colors. School officials said they’ve been a huge problem.

Just as e-cig popularity has grown, such has the debate in New Mexico.

“We need to make sure our young people understand they’re not invincible,” said Sen. Cisco McSorley, D-Albuquerque
