Public School Capital Outlay Oversight Task Force Meeting Wednesday, September 3

Santa Fe, NM – The Public School Capital Outlay Oversight Task Force (PSCOOTF)  will meet Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in room 307 of the State Capitol in Santa Fe.

Committee members will discuss the report on the severance tax permanent fund and issuance of supplemental severance tax bonds, the state auditor’s risk review and ways to increase accountability over public school capital outlay act education funds, charter schools and the statutory deadline to occupy public buildings, as well as prorated proceeds from education technology notes for charter schools. Members also plan to discuss possible legislation for PSCOOTF endorsement.

Committee Chair Representative Mimi Stewart (D-21- Bernalillo) and Vice-Chair Senator John M. Sapien (D-9- Bernalillo & Sandoval) will preside at the meeting.
