Revenue Stabilization and Tax Policy Committee Meeting Monday and Tuesday, September 29-30

Santa Fe, NM – The Revenue Stabilization and Tax Policy Committee will meet on Monday and Tuesday, September 29-30, 2014 at the New Mexico State University Golf Course Clubhouse, located at 3000 Herb Wimberly Drive in Las Cruces.

Amongst several agenda items on Monday, committee members will discuss the revenue forecast with representatives from the Taxation and Revenue Department (TRD), the Department of Finance and Administration, and the Legislative Finance Committee. Committee members will also receive an annual report of locomotive fuel gross receipts and compensating tax deductions, as well as discuss gaming and the Santa Teresa industrial border zone.

On Tuesday, committee members will tour the Union Pacific (UP) Santa Teresa Facility, the UP Fueling Facility, the UP Intermodal Facility, and travel back to the Golf Course Clubhouse to conclude the meeting.

Committee Chair Representative Edward Sandoval (D-17- Bernalillo) and Vice-Chair Senator Carlos Cisneros (D-6-Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe & Taos) will preside at the meeting.
