Science, Technology and Telecommunications Committee Meeting Thursday and Friday, August 7-8

Santa Fe, NM – The Science, Technology and Telecommunications Committee will meet on Thursday and Friday, August 7-8, 2014 in room 311 at the State Capital in Santa Fe.

Among several agenda items, committee members will receive updates from the Department of Information Technology (DOIT) on the Secretary of State Information Technology System status and the Information Technology Commission, as well as a project summary. Other agenda items include energy technology, rural telecommunications access, an update from the Centers of Excellence, renewable energy, the electric vehicle tax incentive, and the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange.

Committee Chair Senator Michael Padilla (D-14- Bernalillo) and Vice Chair Representative Carl Trujillo (D-46-Santa Fe) will preside at the meeting.
