Science, Technology and Telecommunications Committee Meeting Tuesday and Wednesday, November 18-19

Santa Fe, NM – The Science, Technology and Telecommunications Committee will meet Tuesday and Wednesday, November 18-19, 2014, in Room 311 of the State Capitol in Santa Fe.

On Tuesday, committee members will discuss the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers and Student Teacher Accountability reporting system, PNM’s Power for Progress website, the higher education institutions’ accounting system status, the Motor Vehicle Division System Modernization Project, Renewable Taos, and E-911 and funding public safety answering points.

On Wednesday, committee members will discuss proposed legislation for possible endorsement, and the right to deploy transmission by distribution utility.

Committee Chair Senator Michael Padilla (D-14- Bernalillo) and Vice Chair Representative Carl Trujillo (D-46-Santa Fe) will preside at the meeting.
