Senator Cisco McSorley to Host Legislative Town Hall Meeting Saturday, February 28, in Albuquerque
Santa Fe, NM – State Senator Cisco McSorley (D-16-Bernalillo), with State Representatives Gail Chasey (D-18-Bernalillo) and Sheryl Williams Stapleton (D-19-Bernalillo), will host a public legislative town hall meeting on Saturday, February 28, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Monte Vista Christian Church Bethany Hall in Albuquerque.
Sen. McSorley and Reps. Chasey and Williams Stapleton say they are going to use the town hall to hear their constituents’ concerns about the current session and answer any questions about the Legislature they might have.
“Our duty, as lawmakers, is to do what’s best for our constituents. What better way to serve them than to go out into our communities and get direct input so we can effectively implement the feedback we get. I look forward to working with Representatives Chasey and Williams Stapleton collaboratively on the public meeting and am anxious to hear what our constituents have to say,” Sen. McSorley said.
Monte Vista Christian Church is located at 3501 Campus Boulevard Northeast in Albuquerque.
