Senator Jerry Ortiz y Pino to Host Town Hall Meeting Sunday, February 8, in Albuquerque
Santa Fe, NM – Senator Jerry Ortiz y Pino (D-12-Bernalillo) will host a public town hall meeting on February 8, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hotel Blue in Albuquerque. Sen. Ortiz Y Pino said he’d like to use the opportunity to hear from his constituents about their concerns for the upcoming session and answer any questions about the legislature they may have.
Sen. Ortiz y Pino has also invited members from the House of Representatives whose districts overlap with his senate district.
“I hope people will attend with suggestions, questions and inspiration. By then the session will be 25 percent over, so we will have some information to share. But there will also be 75 percent ahead still to come, so we can convert their concerns into action,” Sen. Ortiz y Pino said.
