Senator Linda M. Lopez to Host Town Hall Meeting Wednesday, April 8, in Albuquerque
Santa Fe, NM – State Senator Linda M. Lopez (D-11-Bernalillo), together with State Representatives Patricia Roybal Caballero (D-13-Bernalillo) and Georgene Louis (D-26-Bernalillo), will host a public town hall meeting on Wednesday, April 8, from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the Alamosa Community Center in Albuquerque.
Sen. Lopez said the three legislators will use the town hall to hear their constituents’ concerns about their community and to share information about important bills that passed both chambers this 2015 legislative session.
“We must include constituents in the work we are doing as legislators at the state level. We must make sure that our neighbors are well-informed and have opportunities like this to ask any questions they have about the legislative session,” Sen. Lopez said. “I look forward to hosting this open forum with Representatives Roybal Caballero and Louis.”
The Alamosa Community Center is located at 6900 Gonzales Road SW in Albuquerque.
