Transportation Infrastructure Revenue Subcommittee Meeting Thursday and Friday, November 6-7

Santa Fe, NM – The Transportation Infrastructure Revenue Subcommittee will meet Thursday and Friday, November 6-7, 2014, at 9:30 a.m. in Room 307 of the State Capitol in Santa Fe.

On Thursday, subcommittee members will discuss the examination of state authorities and limitations pursuant to the Constitution of New Mexico and engineering cost estimate review and economic impact analysis of the Southwest Chief Rail Service. They will also discuss the Los Lunas I-25 interchange proposal, transportation system needs, and critical transportation needs and issues in Eddy County.

On Friday, subcommittee members will discuss proposed legislation for possible committee endorsement.

Committee Chair Representative Roberto “Bobby” J. Gonzales (D- 42-Taos) and Vice Chair John Arthur Smith (D-35- Dona Ana, Hidalgo, Luna & Sierra) will preside at the meeting.
