Jobs Council Meeting Thursday, August 28
Santa Fe, NM – The Jobs Council will meet Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in room 307 of the State Capitol in Santa Fe.
Among several agenda items, committee members will receive updates on council-approved legislative initiatives, the regional data-gathering process, and the development of an online jobs-data repository. Members will also discuss job creation through procurement reform, improving operational and performance metrics for job-creation initiatives, and the New Mexico Main Street Program’s role in economic base job development.
Committee Co-Chairs Senator Mary Kay Papen (D-38-Dona Ana) and Representative W. Ken Martinez (D-69- Bernalillo, Cibola, McKinley, Socorro, San Juan & Valencia) will preside at the meeting.
