Legislative Capital Buildings Planning Commission Meeting Monday, June 23
Santa Fe, NM – The Legislative Capital Buildings Planning Commission will be meeting at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2014 in room 311 of the State Capitol in Santa Fe.
Committee members will discuss House Joint Resolution 8 (HJR8), which authorizes the sale of state-owned property on East De Vargas Street in Santa Fe by the State Parks Division. According to HJR 8, the sale of any state property involving a consideration of more than $100,000 requires ratification and approval by the legislature.Committee members will also receive recommendations from the Space-Use Assessment Study by Pamela Nicosin, Acting Deputy Director of the Facilities Management Division in the General Services Department.
Committee Co- Chairs Representative Ken Martinez (D-69- Bernalillo, Cibola, McKinley, Socorro, San Juan & Valencia) and Edwynn L. Burckle, Secretary of the General Services Department,will be presiding at the meeting.
