New Mexico Finance Authority Oversight Committee and Water and Natural Resources Committee Joint Meeting Tuesday, July 1
Water and Natural Resources Committee Continues Meeting July 2
Santa Fe, NM – The New Mexico Finance Authority Oversight Committee (NMFA) and the Water and Natural Resources Committee (WNRC) will be meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in the Science and Technology Park Rotunda at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
Committee members will discuss water project fund financing, and review planning, spending and outcomes for the Water Trust Board. They will also go over federal, state and local cooperation in forest watershed and fire management among other agenda items on July 1. The WNRC will commence at the same venue at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, to discuss the state response to the Kirtland Air Force Base Fuel Spill, Grant County Regional Water Supply Project, and the Drought Status and Outlook.
Committee Chairs Senator Joseph Cervantes (D-31-Dona Ana) and Representative George Dodge, Jr. (D-63- Curry, DeBaca, Guadalupe, Roosevelt & San Miguel) will be presiding at the meeting(s).
