Science, Technology and Telecommunications Committee Meeting Tuesday, July 29
Santa Fe, NM – The Science, Technology and Telecommunications Committee will meet on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in room 311 at the State Capitol in Santa Fe.
Among several agenda items, committee members will hear about the E-911 Fund Status and Next Generation 911 communications with Wayne Sowell, the Director of the Local Government Division for the Department ofFinance and Administration and Jacqueline Miller, the Deputy Secretary of the Department of InformationTechnology (DOIT). Committee members will also discussComputer Coding Education with Samantha Sengel of Central New Mexico Community College. Additionally, DOIT will present the DOIT Project Spreadsheet Summary Update, the 2014 DOIT SHARE Status, the DOIT Cybersecurity and Data Breach, and broadband telecommunications and Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers status to committee members.
Committee Chair Senator Michael Padilla (D-14-Bernalillo) and Vice Chair Representative Carl Trujillo (D-46-Santa Fe) will preside at the meeting.
