Senate Majority Whip Michael Padilla to Host Legislative Town Hall Meetings
April 7, 8 and 9 in Albuquerque
Santa Fe, NM – State Senate Majority Whip Michael Padilla (D-14-Bernalillo) will host three separate public town hall meetings in April. The first meeting will take place Tuesday, April 7th at the South Valley Library, located at 3904 Isleta Boulevard SW at 6:30p.m. The second meeting will take place on April 8th at the West Gate Community Center, located at 1400 Snow Vista SW at 6:30 p.m. The third meeting will take place on April 9th at Los Padillas Community Center, located 2117 Los Padilla Road SW at 6:30 p.m.
“It is important that I connect with the people I represent on a regular basis. These town hall meetings are designed to gain community input on current community concerns,” said Sen. Padilla. “I hold three town halls per quarter, in different parts of my district, to offer my constituents the convenience of having more than one opportunity to attend and share their thoughts.”
Sen. Padilla said he looks forward to sharing information at his town hall meetings about bills passed by the Senate during the 2015 legislative session.
