PROCEDURES FOR

SENATE CONSERVATION COMMITTEE HEARING Regarding

SB 47, ENERGY REDEVELOPMENT BONDS,

Senator Jacob Candelaria

Time: 9 a.m.– 12 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018

Location: Senate Chamber

 

 (1) SB 47 Presentation:

SB 47 Sponsor & proponents/PNM Representatives presentation limited to a total of 30 minutes

Sponsor/proponents will be allowed to reserve any part of the allowed 30 minutes for rebuttal after public input.

 

(2) Opposing Organizations – limited to a total of 30 minutes

Opposing organizations may agree beforehand on speakers and time allocations totaling no more than 30 minutes.

If unable to agree and allocate time, each opposing organization requesting to speak shall register at the Senate Conservation Committee office (SCONC secretary Veronica Ortega, Room 328, 505-986-4871) by 4:30 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2018.

The 30-minute time period will be allotted equally to the number of organizations that register to speak.

 

(3) Public in Support limited to 30 minutes/Public in Opposition limited to 30 minutes

Each speaker in support will be limited to a maximum of 2 minutes of comment.

Each speaker in opposition will be limited to a maximum of 2 minutes of comment.

The time allocated for public comment will be assigned in the order they signed in before the meeting.

 

(4) Senate Conservation Committee members’ questions and comments.
